Interact’s ‘Love Week’ raises £956.92 for local Children’s Hospital

From the 8th to the 14th February, Interact Wigan engaged in numerous love-themed events and competitions in a bid to bring a little love back into the socially-distanced office.

Raffles, prizes, and hampers were all up for grabs, with all proceeds raised going to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. The employees worked hard and together, raised a massive £956.92 in just a week!

In the run up to Love Week itself, employees were able to buy red roses, love heart balloons and small chocolate boxes for their Valentine. Again, all proceeds directly going to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

Events ranging from designing the best Valentine’s Day card, a different raffle each day and a Perfect Match game to see which employees could find their perfect match in the office.

The results were certainly surprising!

Employees were also in for the running to win a (socially-distanced) romantic meal for two. Alongside all the events, staff decorated the office with balloons, banners, and hearts to get everyone into the Love Week spirit!

This is just one of many charity events we will be working towards this year and hope that our team can truly make a difference where it matters most.

Alder Hey Children’s Hospital cares for 330,00 children, young people, and their families every year.
